We are the 'Rocky Mountain Wedding Collective'. A team of mountain dwelling, adventure seekers who naturally connected people and created inspiring experiences before we knew it was called wedding planning! 

We all live in the Bow Valley (Canmore and Banff) and share a love for supporting local. We take our jobs seriously, but not ourselves. We have so much fun brainstorming beautiful things together, celebrating the small moments, and laughing till our cheeks hurt. We can't wait for you to join in on the good times.

The dream team.

We're not like the wedding planners you've seen on TV. You know, the ones with the headsets, a million checklists and an uncanny ability to speed walk in stilettos without tripping. 

Aside from the checklists, which really are necessary, we do things differently and connect best with couples who want to approach their wedding unconventionally too. We value experience over production and aim to craft moments of meaningful human connection because that's what a wedding is all about.


Unconventional

Sipper of coffee and craft beer. Wearer of toques and Blundstones. Pup mom. Avid supporter of local food & local business. Part-time backcountry explorer.

My partner and I reside in Banff, with our pup Casey, and spend most of our spare time camping, hiking, and skiing. Hailing from Ontario, and always up for an adventure, I now know I was destined for the Rocky Mountains.

My passion has always been people-focused. With over 10 years in the hospitality & events industry, I was very much attracted to engaging with people, understanding their needs and looking to go above and beyond to fulfill them.

Building and maintaining relationships is what drives my purpose as the lead Banff Wedding Planner of Rocky Mountain Elopements.

Hi, I’m Hannah and I believe in creating weddings as unique and unforgettable as the couples I work with. As a wedding planner, I have the privilege of helping couples from all over the world celebrate their love in ways that feel personal, beautiful, and stress-free. 

When I’m not coordinating the perfect wedding, you’ll likely find me exploring new corners of the world. I’m an avid traveler with a deep love for experiencing new cultures, meeting people from all walks of life, and soaking in the beauty of nature. My adventures have taught me to embrace the unexpected and approach challenges with a calm, adaptable mindset—skills that come in handy when planning a wedding.

I am also a proud animal lover and pet parent to a frenchie/boston cross named Beasley and a rescue tripod kitty named Sully. Prior to working in the Wedding industry, I worked at various 24hr Emergency Animal Hospitals throughout Calgary and continue to volunteer with various animal rescues in and amongst the city. I firmly believe that your pets are a special part of your family, so if you’re hoping to include them in your celebration, I’m ALL in!

Sourdough baker, hammock enthusiast, and proud plant mom. I’m an adventure seeker in my cozy era, savoring slow mornings with good coffee, fresh mountain air, and a life lived with intention.

After three transformative years abroad, exploring eleven countries and calling three of them home, I’ve returned to my element, unable to resist the call of the Rockies any longer. Although I’m not a huge fan of the cold, the mountains have a way of pulling me out of hibernation. I love snowboarding and capturing the stunning landscapes through my watercolors or photography. Having lived in Lake Louise, Jasper, and now Banff, I’m excited to share my insights as your local guide.

Creating meaningful moments fills my cup. Every love story is unique, and I truly look forward to hearing each one. I may be a bit cheesy when I say I 'love love,' but it’s absolutely true. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of a company that values intentional living; it genuinely feels like where I belong.

With over 15 years of background in event coordination, hospitality management, and wedding planning, I’m thrilled to bring my experience with me to each celebration.

Fueled by a love for creativity and a knack for details, I’m here to make sure your day flows smoothly from start to finish. There’s nothing I enjoy more than taking your unique vision and turning it into a beautiful, unforgettable day that truly feels like you.

My philosophy is that each and every wedding is a chance to create something one-of-a-kind, and it’s an honor to help make your special day just that!

When I’m not busy planning events, you’ll find me hunting for the perfect hot chocolate, cozied up with a good book or out exploring the great outdoors with my dogs!
